Options for how patients can access online services
The NHS App
NHS+App+quick+start+guide+A5+leaflet
This is used with a smartphone or tablet – No need to contact the surgery, you can set this up by downloading the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.
It doesn’t replace existing services. You can still contact us in the usual ways.
But, once you have verified your identity in the app, you will have easy, 24/7 access to a growing range of health services and information. You can:
- order repeat prescriptions
- access NHS 111 online
- find NHS services
- view your health records
- book appointments
- and much more…
If you have any problems using the NHS App, you can select ‘help’ in the top right-hand corner of the app or visit nhs.uk/helpmeapp.
SYSTMONLINE
This is set up using your email address and a generated password –
You will need to come into the surgery to complete a registration form, or you can download it here to complete and then bring it to the surgery; you will be asked to provide two forms of identification with photo ID if you are not well known to the member of staff.
You can:
- order repeat prescriptions
- view your health records
- book appointments
Booking Appointments:
You can book the following types of appointments online:
- Routine GP appointments
- Telephone GP appointments
- Phlebotomy (blood test) appointments
Appointments for our nurses are not currently available online because of the significant variation in length of time for each appointment dependent on the clinical need. These are best booked by contacting our reception team.
Cancelling Appointments:
Appointments can only be cancelled if they are more than one hour ahead. If you need to cancel an appointment with less than an hour’s notice, please contact the reception team.
