Appointments during COVID

We are continuing to work hard to keep our patients, staff and community as safe as possible and would like to thank you all for being so supportive and understanding at this unprecedented time.

Appointments

We are still working remotely with the doctors consulting via telephone and video and using the SMS text messaging for sending in photographs and to provide information to you.  If the doctor deems it necessary to see you in person then you will be asked to come to the surgery.

It is important that childrens immunisations, mother and baby checks, cervical screening (smears) and regular monitoring blood tests and injections are still carried out.

Please continue to contact the surgery to book an appointment with the nurses for these.

We carry out temperature checks on patients before they are allowed to enter the surgery to minimise risk and ask you to wear a face mask and sanitise your hands.

If you are able to provide your own mask then this would be appreciated.

Booking routine appointments – non urgent

Please can we ask that if your request for a call from the doctor is not urgent then you book a few days in advance, this allows the doctors time to speak to patients that have an urgent medical concern on the day.

Telephone appointments can still be booked online with the doctor.
