What Conditions Does an FCP Treat? FCPs focus on musculoskeletal issues, including: Back and neck pain. Joint pain and osteoarthritis. Sciatica. Soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains, or sports injuries. They allow patients to access specialised care directly without needing a GP referral, reducing waiting times and ensuring faster treatment for issues like back, neck, and joint pain FCPs can order necessary investigations to community services, diagnostic imaging (like MRIs or X-rays), or secondary care specialists when necessary.
